He has written widely for film and television in addition to library music, jazz, educational music, and for the theatre and concert hall.

His television work ranges from drama to natural history, magazine shows, lifestyle programmes, travelogues, and scientific and historical documentaries. These have been made by the BBC, ITV, independent companies and cable television channels both in the UK and abroad. Recent broadcast commissions include the "Snakemaster" series starring Austin Stevens (Animal Planet/Channel Five), David Starkey's historical series "Edward and Mary: The Unknown Tudors" (Channel Four), various "Natural World" documentaries (BBC2), and "JFK's Women: The Scandals - Revealed" (Channel Five).

From small-scale, sample-based scores through to instrumental and orchestral recordings made in the UK and abroad, his music has been performed and recorded by various London musicians and orchestras, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra.

His library music has been used on radio and television in many different productions, for instance from "British Isles - A Natural History" to "The Basil Brush Show" and "Blue Peter" to the Canadian film drama "Butterbox Babies".

His concert music ranges from many small-scale chamber works to full orchestral pieces such as "Dance Suite", "Festival Overture", and "Christmas Fantasia". The diversity of these is reflected in having been broadcast on BBC Radios 2, 3, 4 and 5. In the jazz field, he has had several pieces recorded, broadcast and performed by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Great Britain.
