A suite of movements for Concert Wind Band. The Silk Road is the name given to a number of ancient trading routes running between China and various cities throughout Europe and Asia. Canals of Venice is an imaginary day spent on the quiet backwaters of the city in the form of a leisurely serenade allowing principal members of the band the opportunity to feature as soloists. Trans Siberian Express is an imaginary railway journey on the Trans Siberian Express; Fat Tuesday in New Orleans includes the most well known tune to emerge from New Orleans "When The Saints Go Marching In".
